Welcome to the British Consulate, Denver

The role of the Consulate is to strengthen and enhance the existing ties between the UK and Colorado.  To do this, we will further develop and deepen our diplomatic and economic relationships throughout Colorado. We will also continue to maintain good relationships with state, city and local administrations. The Consulate will be building links between the UK and Colorado by working with a broad range of local organisations in the economic, academic, research, technology, educational and social fields.  All of this work will support the UK government's Departmental Strategic Objectives.

The Consulate can only provide limited Consular services and advice to British citizens and members of the public. It does not issue passports (except in an emergency) or visas. The Consulate can not answer any visa or passport related inquiries. Anyone with questions regarding visas or passports should visit the visa or passport section of this website.

Our Consulate General in Chicago deals with UK Trade and Investment work, but the Consulate can help with initial enquiries.

Kevin Lynch succeeded Mark Stevens as British Consul in Denver in March 2007.
