The British Consulate-General in Houston covers a six-state area consisting of Texas, Arkansas, Colorado, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and New Mexico. Office hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. The British Consulate is closed on Public Holidays in 2007.

The British Consulate in Denver (www.britainusa.com/denver) reports to the British Consulate-General. There are also Honorary Consulates in New Orleans, Oklahoma and San Antonio.
