Welcome from the Consul-General

Alan Collins

Welcome to the British Consulate-General in New York.  Our Consular District includes New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Connecticut (Fairfield County only).

The United Kingdom is the world's fourth largest economy and benefits from the US being its largest overseas investor.  The UK is by far the largest investor in the US.  We have a strong tradition of two-way trade, and my staff at the British Consulate-General in the New York, the headquarters of our trade and inward investment operation in the US, are here to help all those wanting to do business with the UK.  We also provide services to those wishing to visit the UK for business, study or pleasure.

I hope you enjoy visiting the website.
